HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR HARP MUSIC IN HAWAI’I?
Booking live harp music for your wedding or special event in Hawai’i begins with a simple conversation. Once we confirm availability, you’ll receive a personalized quote outlining your options.
Your date is secured once the signed contract and a 50% non-refundable booking fee are returned within 14 days; after that, the date may be released to other couples inquiring about the same time. Once both are received, your reservation is officially confirmed. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your celebration, or paid in full for bookings made within 30 days of the event.

WHEN SHOULD I INQUIRE ABOUT AVAILABILITY?
You may inquire up to a year in advance. Popular dates and holiday weekends book quickly, so early inquiry is encouraged. On occasion, I do accept last-minute weddings or events if my schedule allows.
You may also call us at (808) 737-6422 with your date, location, and event duration ready. We will be happy to assist.

CAN I CHOOSE THE SONGS?
Absolutely. Many couples select favorites from my repertoire, or request music that holds personal meaning. A song learner’s fee applies for new repertoire requests. If you’re not sure where to begin, I’ll guide you toward selections that complement your ceremony and celebration perfectly.
-
DO YOU PERFORM WITH OTHER MUSICIANS?
Yes. I often perform alongside other professional musicians to create a fuller sound. From harp and flute or violin for romance, to harp and saxophone for a modern flair, to elegant trios for cocktail hour or dinner. We’ll design the perfect ensemble to match your celebration.
-
CAN YOU PLAY OUTDOORS?
Yes, I frequently perform outdoors across the islands. Harps, like other fine stringed instruments, are sensitive to direct sunlight and moisture, so shaded protection is required. For solo harp, please provide a large market umbrella (securely staked if on a lawn). For duos or trios, a 10×10 canopy is required to shade all musicians. Your rental company or coordinator can easily arrange this, ensuring the music flows beautifully in comfort and safety.
-
DO YOU BRING YOUR OWN SOUND SYSTEM?
Yes. My electro-acoustic harps feature a professional pickup for clean amplification indoors or outdoors. Depending on your package, I may connect to your venue’s system, or provide my own portable Bose speaker. Amplification is always included for me and any musicians performing with me.
-
WHAT DO YOU WEAR FOR PERFORMANCES?
We perform in formal concert attire or elegant aloha wear, depending on your event’s style. If desired, we can coordinate with your theme or color palette for a seamless presentation.
-
WHAT IF SOMETHING UNEXPECTED HAPPENS?
I’ve been performing professionally since 1983. In the rare event that I am unable to perform, I work with a trusted network of harpists and musicians across Hāwai’i to ensure your event is covered without disruption. Your peace of mind is always a priority.
